West African Sustainable Leadership and Innovation Training in Bioinformatics Research (WASLITBRE) is a grant awarded, supported and administered by and in partnership with the Fogarty International Center at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) on Bioinformatics.  The programme is a collaboration between Principal Investigators from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), University of Bamako (Mali), with Covenant University (Nigeria) serving as the lead University for the project.
